What does an AP/ construction manager do?

Construction managers plan for, budget, and supervise construction projects from start to finish. They coordinate and supervise various construction projects, which includes the building of all types of public residential, commercial, and industrial structures in addition to roads, memorials, and bridges.

In lifting operations, an appointed person is someone who is responsible for the execution and safety of a lifting operation.
A hugely responsible position.
In terms of an official definition for an ‘Appointed Person’, Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) state that an employer must ensure that each lifting operation is planned by a ‘competent person’.

Our next Appointed person course running at our Redditch Centre will be on the 15th of May.
