This course is the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work. This is the qualification that should be held by First Aiders in the workplace.

Anyone who requires the First Aid at Work qualification. This is the qualification that should be held by First Aiders in the workplace.
  • Principles of First Aid
  • The role of the First Aider
  • Actions in an emergency
  • Breathing & circulation
  • Airway obstruction
  • Resuscitation
  • Treatment of bleeding
  • Dressings & bandages
  • Treatment of shock
  • Defibrillation techniques

Completion of the course:

Delegates will take a written test and complete a practical assessment. Successful delegates will receive the FAA Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work certificate.

Course Aims

The First Aid at Work course is intended to train participants to take responsibility for first aid in their workplace according to the level required by their organisation’s first aid risk assessment.

Course Requirement

This is a three day course.
