Man's profile picture at Total Construction Training

With over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, Stuart brings a wealth of practical knowledge and leadership to his current role in training and assessment.

His career began operating a wide range of construction plant, including excavators and bulldozers, on projects across the UK. Over time, he progressed into site supervision, serving in roles from Section Foreman to Works Manager on major civil engineering sites.

Following a personal bereavement, Stuart became a full-time carer for his younger brother and transitioned into the training sector to share the skills and insights he developed over decades in the field. His dedication to developing others is evident in his qualifications: he is an accredited tester to both CPCS and NPORS standards and a qualified NVQ Assessor up to Level 7 in Senior Site Management.

Currently, Stuart is further enhancing his credentials by studying for his IQA and Level 6 Diploma in Health and Safety Practice qualification, enabling him to internally verify NVQ qualifications. He also delivers NPORS Instructor courses, helping experienced operators become certified NPORS testers.

Stuart’s deep industry knowledge, commitment to quality training and personal integrity make him a valued mentor and educator in the construction training sector.
