Ian Bradley

Ian Bradley is the founder and Managing Director of Total Construction Training. Before establishing the company, Ian spent 15 years in the motor trade, progressing from Sales Executive to General Sales Manager. After a redundancy, he transitioned into the construction training sector, initially working at a crane company’s training centre before managing training centres for two of the Midlands’ largest plant training providers. 

Driven by a desire to improve the customer experience and raise standards across the plant and health and safety training industry, Ian founded Total Construction Training. He recognised a clear need for a provider offering high-quality, accessible open courses across popular plant categories – combined with excellent value and competitive pricing. 

Ian’s vision for Total Construction Training includes: 

• Delivering regular open courses at convenient UK locations with great value and competitive prices. 

• Providing knowledgeable staff with extensive health and safety training experience who respond promptly to enquiries. 

• Ensuring all instructors are fully qualified with hands-on experience specific to the plant they teach. 

• Emailing course results following the course, accompanied by achievement letters or detailed feedback if a course is not completed successfully. 

• Dispatching certificates promptly after course completion and receipt from awarding bodies. 

Starting from a laptop at his dining room table, Ian has grown Total Construction Training into a thriving business with two training centres, a team of 15, including 9 full-time instructors, accreditation from 9 awarding bodies and over 2,800 delegates trained in the last 12 months.
