Darren Burridge is a highly skilled instructor with over a decade of experience in forklift operations and specialist materials handling equipment. He began his career as a plant operator at Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in Solihull, where he developed a strong foundation in forklift operations and site safety.
With over 10 years of hands-on experience operating various types of forklifts, Darren progressed to become an ITSSAR-accredited Forklift Instructor, a role he has held for the past 9 years. He specialises in delivering training on Counterbalance Forklifts, Reach Trucks and Combi Lifts, and is known for his clear instruction, high safety standards and ability to build operator confidence.
In addition to his instructor role, Darren is a qualified Level 2 NVQ Assessor in Plant and Lifting Operations, supporting learners in achieving their formal qualifications and progressing toward Blue Card status.
Darren’s practical knowledge, patient teaching style and deep understanding of forklift safety and compliance make him a valuable asset to learners and training teams alike.
