Examination Board

The Construction Plant Competence Scheme (CPCS) is recognised by the UK Contractors Group (UKCG) and the Major Home Builders Group (MHBG) as the preferred card scheme to demonstrate plant operator competence and certification.

CPCS, launched in 2003, helps the industry meet regulatory requirements and applies consistent standards for all plant operators.

CPCS is owned by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB).
