Prior to setting up Total Construction Training Ian managed Training Centres for two of the country’s largest CPCS Training Companies. He wanted, however, to improve upon the experiences of his customers and drive up the standards of CPCS and Health & Safety training across the UK. He felt there was a clear need for a nationwide CPCS Training provider which would offer good quality, open courses in all the most popular categories, whilst ensuring great value, competitive prices.

Karen joined us having spent 12 years within the Motor Industry Retailer Network, working mainly within Prestige Brands such as Land Rover, Jaguar, Volkswagen and Audi. Her role before she joined us was as Group Aftersales Manager looking after the operational and process side of 9 Aftersales Departments. She was also responsible for the set up and extremely well run Contact Centre within The Colbornes Group dealing with some 3500 calls a week.
During her time in the motor trade Karen became known for her ability to troubleshoot areas of the business and streamline process with the right balance between managing people and process. Following a Group buy out Karen decided it was time for a change and having known Ian for 8 years took the opportunity to join Total Construction Training and bring her skills to head up our Administration, Accounts and HR functions.

Laura joins Total Construction Training following 4 years in the Hospitality industry where she worked with customers on a daily basis in her most recent role as Reception Manager. Her great customer service was witnessed first-hand by the Directors who regularly stayed in the hotel where she worked and went on to recruit her. Together with her customer experience she brings valuable administrative support to the Centre organising the instructors and supporting sales teams. Living locally means that Total can continue to grow in other areas of the country knowing that the Centre has been left in safe hands.
